Julian Wechsler has been working as a patent engineer in our Nuremberg office since 2025. He supports his colleagues in matters of intellectual property law, in particular patent and utility model law: from the
- drafting of patent and utility model applications,
- the initiation of national and regional phases, to
- searches,
- translations and
- drawings as well as
- communication with clients and patent offices.
Due to his studies at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, his technical fields of expertise include in particular electrical engineering, electronics, and information technology, with a focus on topics of signal processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
As part of his research activities at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Julian Wechsler has dealt with topics of spatial audio signal processing, with a focus on the separation and weighting of human speakers with the aid of neural networks.
