Alexander Pickles is a Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney based in our UK Office in Yorkshire. His practice spans the breadth of trade mark, copyright and design law.
Alexander has particular experience in contentious matters and provides direct representation for clients before the UK Intellectual Property Office. Prior to qualifying as a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, Alexander completed the Bar Professional Training Course and was called to the Bar in England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2019. He is also an Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.
Alexander manages and maintains the global trade mark portfolios for a number of the firms key clients and is the contact person for clients for trade mark, copyright and passing off issues in the United Kingdom. In addition to being well placed in advising well-established brands, Alexander has experience advising start-ups with innovative goods and services that have not previously been defined under the trade mark classification system.
Alexander also maintains a keen interest in armorial bearings, heraldry and Scottish tartan.
