Matthias D. Okur is active in various areas of intellectual property law, in particular patent law. His practice focuses on the technical evaluation of inventions, the drafting of patent and utility model applications, their prosecution and communication with clients and patent offices.

During his studies of physics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Queen's University Belfast, Mr. Okur acquired profound knowledge in the fields of solid-state and semiconductor physics, photonics, optics, spectroscopy, thermodynamics, mechanics and medical technology. 

Before working in the field of intellectual property, he worked as an engineer for physical metrology, which enabled him to deepen his technical knowledge, especially in the field of medical technology.
