Michael Pohl has been advising large and medium-sized research-based chemical companies as well as universities and start-ups on all patent law matters for many years.
His technical focus lies in the fields of organic chemistry, polymer chemistry and plant protection.
In addition to drafting patent applications and prosecuting patent applications around the world, he is particularly involved in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office as well as nullity and utility model cancellation proceedings. He also advises his clients on employee invention law and assists them in drafting license and cooperation agreements.
Michael Pohl has been involved in patent litigation in the fields of polymer chemistry and plant protection. He drafts freedom-to-operate opinions and opinions on the legal status of intellectual property rights.
Michael Pohl has been working in the field of patent law since 1995 and has been a German and European Patent Attorney since 1999. He had worked for a renowned German patent law firm for more than 28 years before joining Meissner Bolte in 2024.
