As of April 1, 2023 the EPO will apply increased fees. In average the respective fees have been raised by 5%. Decision of the Administrative Council of 14 December 2022
The new fees will apply upon payment. Thus, for any fee that is still payed in March the lower fee will apply. Particularly early annuity payments will allow the applicants and patentees to make a significant saving.
