The Unified Patent System in Europe has had a busy first 18 months. The judges at the Unified Patent Court are providing valuable predictability with their insightful, quick and reasoned decisions. Whilst uptake of the Unitary Patent is steadily increasing, it appears that many patentees remain cautious.
