During this year's discussion we will be exploring key developments in IP and especially patent law as well as providing you with solid strategies for a strong portfolio in Asia. Our half-day seminar brings together leading experts from China, Korea and Germany – also offering a view from a UPC perspective, to provide practical guidance and insights that you can immediately apply to your portfolio management when navigating the complexities of patent protection in these important jurisdictions.
The discussion will provide in-depth information about successful strategies for IP, and especially patent protection, in the Asian region; patent invalidation proceedings in Korea; important lessons from China’s recent invalidation cases as well as how to leverage the Unified Patent Court (UPC) for your international success: both in Europe and Asia. We shall then move our focus onto the enforcement of trade marks in China, learning from practical experience of a large company with China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) proceedings compared with court proceedings. Our seminar will close with a panel discussion with all of our speakers to provide a dynamic and interactive conclusion to the day!
